As with everything else in our lives Aaron and I decided where we should go for our honeymoon based around food. We had visited Japan and China in recent years so we decided our honeymoon was the perfect opportunity to make it to another Asian country and selected Thailand.
My brother Josh is a nomad, or a van dweller -- whichever phrase you prefer. In the past few months since starting his trip he has put 34,100 miles on his car, driven through 35 states and visited 37 national parks. I joined him for a few stops along the way.

Napa Valley is a stretch of Northern, CA that is about 30 miles long by 5 miles wide but “Napa” is often used to refer to the overall mountainous wine country that encompasses Napa Valley and Sonoma Valley. It is no understatement to say that I ate and drank my way down that particular stretch.

Food and experiences from my trip to Shanghai & Hong Kong (but mostly food).
My brother goes to school at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, which is located about an hour West of Birmingham. It’s what you would call a real college town.
A weekend in New Orleans

This past week I had the amazing opportunity to go to Japan with my boyfriend and his family. We spent a total of 8 days in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto, and I don’t even know where to start when talking about it. I loved it all, the food the culture, even the subway system.
